Open Trails
KNTA has put it’s operations to rest for another season. Thanks for a terrific year. The trails are open to bikers and hikers at their own risk at no cost for the spring, summer and fall.

T.A Hosting NorWOSSA High school Championship
Saint Thomas Aquinas High School will host a fall cross country running race on the KNTA trails – so get out and get used to them over the summer!Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and KNTA have won the bid to host both NWOSSA and NorWOSSA High School Championship Ski races at Mt.Evergreen facility for 2008. This should really help develop the high school programs at both Beaver Brae and TA next year.

Summer Trail ReportJane Mathews has been out and mowed Two Towers and Matoo’s 4 feet wide. Tim has done the rest of the summer trails. There is now a path around Rainbow Ridge, Jackrabbit, Ursula’s Scream, Green Spruce, Panorama and the summer shortcut and then up and over Roller Coaster backwards.

There was so much rain this spring that two of the bridges were washed about 20 feet away from there original location but Tim was able to drag them back and set them up again.

Ralph has biked them all for us last week and says the trails are fantastic for riding and walking. ( Watch out for some of the pot holes that Ralph found !)
